Patterns! Patterns! Everywhere!

Hi Parents,
We have been exploring Patterning at school. We have learned that patterns "repeat and begin again, over and over again." Ask your child to sing you our song about Patterns.
Also, today we looked around the classroom and found patterns in all kinds of interesting places. Challenge your child to remember where the pattern was in the room. Ask them to describe the pattern.

Our Trip to Whittamore's Farm

We had a beautiful day for our trip to Whittamore's Farm on October 8, 2014. I hope you will enjoy the pictures taken while we were there.

Please take the time to look at the photos with your child and ask them to describe (in a sentence) what is happening in a few of the photos. We will be writing a book in the coming days and it is very helpful for the children to practise talking out their ideas before writing them down.
